Although doing the Silver Whiskers labwork gives us a great “snapshot”, we can take your senior pets’ wellness checkup to an additional level with digital radiographs. We have packaged together a six view series of x-rays that give us a complete picture of your pets internal organs and
skeletal structure. These x-rays can detect abnormalities that may not be seen with blood values alone. Examples are: any size/shape changes of the organs, tumors, and bone abnormalities. The Silver Whiskers Plus Program includes complete labwork as well.

This special program includes the following:
• 6 x-ray views
• 2 abdominal views can provide visual images of bone structure as well as outline internal organs in the abdomen such as the liver, stomach, intestines, kidneys, bladder, uterus, and prostate gland.
• 3 thoracic (chest) views can provide visual images of the bone structure and blood vessels in the chest cavity, as well as outline internal organs such as the heart and lungs.
• 1 view of the hips can provide a visual image of your cats hip structure to reveal any possible hip dysplasia, arthritis, and/or osteonecrosis. |
